| Briefly about the scene newcomer. Growing up in Kaunas and being strongly influenced by different cultures, Jonas started producing at his fifteenths, but his relationship with music was always on an abstract level, which made his personal work artistic, floating, with no clear purpose. The album „Futura“ was inspired by the Lithuanian electronic club music culture, particularly by strong sense of modern hedonistic life. Palmes Ziedas has always felt a weakness for mid/late twentieth-century recording style, so often his work may seem domestic, too human. But these features only emphasize the melancholy sense of nostalgia of the modernist age. The debut album “Futura” appears on digital and MC format on Partyzanai Pop Records and launches on the 18th of January at event Partyzanai Pop: Palmės Žiedas Futura Album Launch at Bar Amadeus in Vilnius.
