VEIVERIS / DRUMSTIS EP / OUT SOON | . |
|
Veiveris, musically being an odd one out, is an embodiment for outlandish sounds and textures. Ever-searching for peculiarities in club context has accumulated into the status quo of his creative journey which is the debut “Drumstis” EP. With its quite contemporary attitude towards sound it makes a perfect fit for the Partyzanai Plius assortment appending with distinctive rhythms and atypical sounds. Based in Vilnius, Veiveris has built up a grasp of Lithuania’s club scene outskirts and particularities and paves the way for himself by contributing music for the outsiders in Lithuania and around the globe.
“Drumstis” EP is a set of inner emotions expressed through human-like timbre synth sounds. As if the sounds would be direct expressions of human emotion, Veivers uses them to confront his subconscious and rally against the outside world, spreading unease and wit. Throughout the EP’s gloomy atmosphere, a sense of unusualness and discomfort accompanied with thunderous ambiences makes unfamiliarity a usual standard. By design broken kick drums integrate the perfect amount of chaos with wrecked order. Rationalities wither, uncertainty persists.
Big thanks to Pranza (audiomastering.lt) to make it sound good, and Tadas Karpavicius to make it look good.

Special Partyzanai Broadcast episode dedicated to Ement „Metatone Remixes“ EP launch on the brand new sub-label PZ Records. Lead tunes of Ement’s “Metatone” album follow up with remixes from Riot Code, False Persona, Alavux, 5ZYL and Shaknis on a brand new label PZ Records. The emerging and hidden European producers deliver five remixes most of which are peak timers. False Persona, an emerging producer & DJ based on the South Coast of England, transforms „Despite Of Time“ into a 90’s spiced up dance anthem. Serbian Alavux, who’s been in the scene for more than 20 years, changes “How Much is Too Much” into a hypnotic electro acid trip. Northern Irish duo Riot Code mashes up “Despite Of Time” into a jungle powered rave gem, while breakthrough local artist 5ZYL gives the same track a modern trance feeling. EMENT/ METATONE LP / OUT NOW | . |
|
Metatone is a tonic-containing substance used to help restore health and vitality after illnesses or when you are feeling tired. A metaphor, which perfectly describes Ement’s debut album – a mixture of peak-time electro/techno tunes spiced up with the modern traces of EBM, which perfectly fits clubs and festivals. It is a personal dancefloor experience materialization of a non-stop party rebel, who started his music production journey in the periphery and got inspired by his brother’s hard dance production experiments. After an intensive exploration of the local and foreign club scene through years of intensive djing, remixing and never-ending afterhours, Ement finalized his recent definition of dance, which launches on the new co-curated PZ Records label.
An unexpected break and a long-lasting limbus of the dancefloor consumption turned out as a perfect slot to reveal one of many underestimated Lithuanian producers, who are too shy and too critical to themselves. It’s no fiction, as “How Much Is Too Much” was already noticed and compiled by Dave Clark in his “Whitenoise” radio show. Big thanks to Tadas Karpavicius for for the graphic design and Pranza (audiomastering.lt) for making it sound good.

PZ BROADCAST #02 BY GVIDAS | . |
|
Special Partyzanai Broadcast episode dedicated to Bleach Cult’s „Summertime Whiteout Remixes“ EP launch on Partyzanai Pop Records. A debut Bleach Cult album “Summertime Whiteout” – the quirky ambient pop record that fantasizes about 1960s surf culture and romanticizes the never-ending dilemmas of teen life – got seven versatile interpretations from diverse Partyzanai comrades. Ement transformed “A Coke With Hollie” into a rockabilly dancefloor sweat version, while Five Rituals duo converted the same song into a broken deconstructed club track. Sound designer Shkema took as usually a slow groove “mushroom” house approach and Zoe Zoe created an AI-based leftfield vocal version. Black Feeling transformed “Acid Shades” into a balleric dancefloor tune and Mart created a dreamy guitar-synths version of “Kenny”. Finally, Alex Krell adapts “Neon sugar” into a true rave-ish anthem. The serving of mentioned remixes gets premiered and executed by Gvidas.
The tracklist:
1. Bleach Cult / A Coke With Hollie (Zoé Zoe Dimension Remix) / Partyzanai POP
