THING / PLIUS 2 EP / OUT ON 4TH OF DEC | . |
Thing aka Alex Krell is a breakthrough Vilnius dj/producer, already named as Lithuanian Ben Klock because of sound parallels and his roots – Alex father is from a worldwide famous cultural heritage city of Weimar in Thüringen. Since his teenage time, Alex was active in various solo and co-projects, which were mile stones on the road to his present and more crystalized abstract sound. The journey is not finished, but at the moment you can feel a big influences of Ostgut Ton heroes such as Marcell Dettmann, Planetary Assault Systems, Answer Code Request, Kobosil and of course Ben Klock. “Plus 2 EP” is a status quo of Alex’s long and diligent effort to deliver a quality and unique electronic dance music sound. Fresh minimal.lt and Partyzanai joint label Plius Plius Plius Records is very proud to accompany Thing in his music journey. Thing “Plius 2 EP” is released on the 4th of December 2015 and presented on the same day at event +++ w/ Conforce Live. Big thanks to Romanas Orlovas for the graphic design and Pranza (audomastering.lt) – for making it sound good.

300 DEGREES / POINT OF CHANGE / SOON | . |
We are happy to welcome IJO‘s – one of Lithuania’s electronica veteran – side project 300 Degerees into our artist family. After several years the volume of music Audrius Vaitekunas aka IJO has accumulated was begging to be released on a new album. As a result the sound of the album “Point Of Change” is a lot more mature, more emotional and significantly ahead of the previous creations. Title of the album, as well as the music, reflects Audrius personal life and recent events – returning to his home country after nearly 10 years spent in London and Brighton. “This is audio (photo) album of my experience, first of all to remind myself of those times. I hope listeners will find co-resonating and pleasant emotions in this audio journey.” The 300 Degrees debut album „Point Of Change“ will be released on the 19th of September on Partyzanai Records as limited MC (50 copies worldwide) and digital.

MENTIONED BY ELECTRONIC BEATS | . |
After a week of bad press for Lithuania regarding to unacceptable statement of one of the most acknowledged Lithuanian artist, Electronic Beats set out to find representatives from its criminally underrepresented Lithuanian electronic music scene. We are very happy to be mentioned in the article and we want to make it clear, that we do not share the same homophobic opinion. We do stand for equal human rights and fully support label founder’s Mantas T. response to this topic: “One of my best friends is gay. My best and funniest collegue is gay. My life without them would be more gray. Anger, hate and fear is “the dark side of the force”. Music is the universal language, which is breaking barriers in any context. It should be the answer”. |
