| First big raves in early teenage years. Meeting new likeminded friends. Innocent conversations about music, not drugs. It all seemed like a brand new world to explore. Fell in love for underground music ever since.Rather big influence of Detroit legends like Juan Atkins, Jeff Mills, Derrick May as well as the early works of Warp label. Started buying vinyl records nearly starving and spending school lunch money. Invited by Kaunas city heroes Dj Zveriukai started playing at rave parties back in 1997. Persuaded a good friend Mantas to dj together as a team called Partyzanai.
Moved to Dublin in a year 2000. Played at various parties and was a resident dj at a pub. Received publicity at „Dublin’s Daily“ newspaper. In 2002 Playing together again in London.
Homecoming in 2004 set an instant fame. Self irony and fresh sound helped to become a resident dj at club Gravity. With party series „Revolt“ included international djs. In 2006 a resident dj at the same club and new party name „I Hate Dancing“ and more guest djs. Team Partyzanai travelled as far as Iceland. Participated in „NRW“ contemporary art festival in Dortmund, Germany. Toured neighboring countries of Poland, Kaliningrad and Latvia. Recently involved in Partyzanai Netlabel and various audio-visual projects in Lithuania.
